Welcome to our online store! Here at EXPRESS GENERAL TRADING, we’re committed to providing you with a seamless shopping experience, which includes clear and transparent shipping policies. Please take a moment to review our shipping guidelines.

Upon placing an order, you will receive updates on its status and shipping details, along with the tracking number (via email) once the order has been dispatched. 

Processing time:
Processing time starts from the date the order is placed. Normally it takes 1-2 business day (Monday-Saturday) to process orders. Once processed, we will proceed to shipping. Every effort is made to ship your order quickly. The deadline for ordering is 5:00PM (GMT+02:00) South Africa Standard Time (Johannesburg).

Delivery time:
Standard shipping: We usually deliver orders within 2-3 working days. (Monday-Saturday)* (in regular season). 

Regarding the delivery service zone:
Currently our delivery services are only available to locations within South Africa.

Shipping costs:
We offer free shipping on all orders.  

payment process:

We receive payment through EFT , once we have received your order, we will check on stock availability and send you our proforma invoice for the payment of your order , we do accept payment through the following bank , FNB , ABSA, Capitec bank, African Bank, Nedbank and Tyme Bank

Our Carriers:
We offer delivery for your orders via The Courier Guy, and you are also welcome to do a self-collection in our shop.

Order Tracking:
Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll send you an email containing a tracking number and a link to the courier’s website. If you don’t receive this email, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer service team. You can also track your order by calling our order helpline at +27 63 987 6722. or by emailing us at sales@expressgeneraltrading.com.

Failed Delivery:
If delivery fails due to reasons attributable to the customer (such as providing an incorrect shipping address or being unavailable to receive the package), or if the customer declines to accept the delivery, the package will be returned to the sender (South Africa) at the customer’s expense. This expense includes any shipping costs incurred, which will be deducted from the total order amount to be refunded.

Change of Delivery Address:
Once your order is in transit, we’re unable to change the delivery address. If you need to modify the delivery location, please contact us within one day of placing your order at sales@expressgeneraltrading.com or call us at +27 63 987 6722..

Upon receipt of Your Order:
Please carefully inspect the package and its contents upon receipt to ensure they are intact and complete before signing for delivery. If you discover any damage or discrepancies, please refuse delivery of the goods or sign for them as “Damaged,” then contact us immediately.

Cancellation of Order:
We regret to hear that you wish to cancel your order! If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll provide you with a full refund upon cancellation.

If your order has already been shipped, you’ll need to request a refund once you receive the order. Please refer to our Return and Refund policy for more information.

Gift Wrapping:
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer gift-wrapping services.

Bank Holidays:
Please note that we do not deliver on Bank Holidays. Your parcel will be delivered on the next working day.

Sales Tax
expressgeneraltrading.com does not charge you any additional taxes.

Delivery Time Exceeded:
If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.
